EXECUCATTERY PLETTENBERG BAY – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Bookings are accepted at ExecuCattery Plettenberg Bay on the explicit understanding that clients agree to our terms and conditions, as outlined in this document.
ExecuCattery Plettenberg Bay and the client hereby agree to the following:
- I, the undersigned, am the legal owner/guardian of the cat/s:
(Name/age/sex)
as booked into ExecuCattery Plettenberg Bay.
- Boarding and Payment Conditions
I agree to the rates as quoted by ExecuCattery Plettenberg Bay.
A 70% deposit of the total amount is required at the time of making the booking.
All fees are to be paid in full prior to or when checking in.
EFT payments can be made in advance and proof of payment must be provided before boarding commences. Credit/debit card payments can be made before boarding commences.
Extras incurred while my cat stays in the cattery will be charged to my account and must be settled on collection.
No refunds are due in respect of early collections.
- Changes to booking dates
If it is necessary to extend my booking while away, ExecuCattery Plettenberg Bay must be notified of these date changes, and this is subject to space being available.
An additional surcharge, up to double the daily rate, may be levied for the additional days requested and I will be notified of this amount upon acceptance of the additional days requested.
These additional days must be paid in full on collection of my cat/cats.
- Cancellations
Should I cancel my booking 2 weeks or more before admission, 100% of the booking fee will be refunded; 1 week before admission, 50% of the booking fee will be refunded and any cancellations hereafter will result in a complete forfeit of the deposit.
- Failure to collect cat/cats
Should I fail to collect my cat/s within 7 days of the collection date and fail to contact the cattery within this period to make alternative arrangements, I accept and understand that my cat/s become the property of ExecuCattery Plettenberg Bay and they may rehome or donate my cat/s to PAWS. I am also liable for the cattery fees incurred for these 7 days.
- Vaccination and parasite treatment
I understand that my cat/s will not be accepted or admitted for boarding unless fully vaccinated and that failure to present a vaccination certificate will nullify my booking and I will forfeit my deposit in full. I will ensure that my cat/s have received correct treatment against external parasites prior to arrival at ExecuCattery Plettenberg Bay.
I do agree that, should my cat/s have external parasites, treatment will be applied at my expense.
- Veterinary services
I agree that should my cat/s become ill or injured during the stay at ExecuCattery Plettenberg Bay, ExecuCattery Plettenberg Bay has my permission to either contact my usual veterinarian or the veterinary clinic which ExecuCattery Plettenberg Bay uses in order that veterinary care can be rendered to my cat/s.
I agree that I am fully responsible for the veterinary account incurred by such treatment.
I hereby state that to my knowledge the cat/s I have booked into ExecuCattery Plettenberg Bay are healthy and that I have disclosed all necessary medical information and medical requirements to ensure that the cat/s can be taken care of appropriately.
I understand that, whilst all reasonable care and precautions are taken to ensure that my cat/s receive proper care during its stay at ExecuCattery Plettenberg Bay, no liability is incurred by the Proprietors in respect of any loss or damage to my cat/s due to sickness, injury, escape, or from any cause whatsoever.
I undertake to transfer my cat/s to and from ExecuCattery Plettenberg Bay in an appropriate cat box.
I understand that, should I bring any personal items to ExecuCattery Plettenberg Bay, ExecuCattery Plettenberg Bay will not accept any responsibility for such items.
8. Legal fees
I understand that should I not promptly pay any amount due, it will result in legal action being instituted against me and all such legal costs will be for my account.
9. Changes to this agreement
Any changes to this agreement must be made in writing and agreed to by both parties.
